Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2026
Zone Engine is a heart-rate zone training app for Android. This policy explains what the app does with your data. In short: everything stays on your device.
What the app accesses
- Heart-rate data from a Bluetooth heart-rate monitor you choose to connect. It is shown live during a workout and is not stored, logged, or transmitted.
- Your settings (max heart rate, custom zones, theme, audio-cue preference, and the last monitor you connected to), saved in the app's local storage on your device.
-
Bluetooth, used only to scan for and connect to your heart-rate
monitor. The Bluetooth scan permission is declared with
neverForLocation; the app does not use or request location.
What we collect
Nothing. Zone Engine has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no backend server. No personal or health data is sent to us or to any third party. We have no access to your heart-rate data or settings.
Data sharing
None. Because no data leaves your device, there is nothing to share or sell.
Data deletion
Uninstalling the app removes all data it stored on your device.
Children
Zone Engine is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
